The All-Net League is NJB's "Bring Your Own Team" competitive basketball league for Boys and Girls.
The All-Net League is for competitive teams who are already formed. To register as a player in the All-Net League, a player must already be a member of a team as selected by their coach.
Players who participate in the competitive All-Net League usually possess basketball skills that are "very advanced".
ALL-NET LEAGUE REQUIREMENTS
1. REGISTRATION METHOD IS ONLINE ONLY!
2. Separate Boys and Girls teams with four competitive divisions supporting the following grade levels: 5, 6, 7, 8. See grade and age requirements below.
3. Teams must have a minimum of 8 players.
4. A player must already be a member of a competitive team as selected by their coach, and is required to register online.
5. Coach's name will be required during the registration process.
6. For each player on the team, the coach will be required to turn-in a copy of each player's birth certificate and most recent report card to validate age and grade requirements for participation in the appropriate grade level division.
7. Game clock stops for most dead ball situations (free throws, etc.) All games governed by a combination of AIA and NJB rules and regulations.
GRADE/AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL-NET LEAGUE DIVISIONS
GRADE 5
A player turning twelve (12) prior to September 1, 2010, WILL NOT be eligible to participate in the Fifth grade 2009-2010 All-Net season. A copy of the player's birth certificate will be required to verify age. All players shall maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average to remain eligible.
GRADE 6
A player turning thirteen (13) prior to September 1, 2010, WILL NOT be eligible to participate in the Sixth grade 2009 -2010 All-Net season. A copy of the player's birth certificate will be required to verify age. A Fifth grader may play in the Sixth grade All-Net Division with their parent's permission. A Sixth grader cannot play in a lower division. All players shall maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average to remain eligible.
GRADE 7
A player turning fourteen (14) prior to September 1, 2010, WILL NOT be eligible to participate in the Seventh grade 2009-2010 All-Net season. A copy of the player's birth certificate will be required to verify age. A Sixth grader may play in the Seventh grade All-Net Division with their parent's permission. A Seventh grader cannot play in a lower division. All players shall maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average to remain eligible.
GRADE 8
A player turning fifteen (15) prior to September 1, 2010, WILL NOT be eligible to participate in the Eighth grade 2009-2010 All-Net season. A copy of the player's birth certificate will be required to verify age. A Seventh grader may play in the Eighth grade All-Net Division with their parent's permission. An Eighth grader cannot play in a lower division. All players shall maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average to remain eligible.
